Charity SWAP Rescheduled for the Fall

Beloved Parishioners and Volunteers,

Due to the high heat and the chances of heat stroke, we are rescheduling our First Annual Charity Swap for early fall. Please forgive us for any inconvenience. We treasure all of you and would not want anyone to come to harm. Fall is a great time for a SWAP and we look forward to it!

If anyone has things they want to get rid of before then or have things they need we encourage you to send out an email with details/pictures or write it down on our board in the parish hall. As always we encourage a donation (nothing is too small) to the parish. Thank you for your patience with us.

Holy Mass will be offered at 12 pm only on Wednesday, July 9.

Knights of Columbus BBQ and Picnic

The Knights of Columbus Council 17559 cordially invites you to the first annual parish BBQ and Picnic on June 12th, 2021. Festivities will kick off at 2pm and will go until the evening.

Events Include:

Rosary
2 BBQ Competitions
Target Shooting
Fishing for Prizes
Socializing
Music
Dancing and More!!!!

BBQ will be served at 5pm with dessert to follow thanks to the incredible girls of the St. Maria Goretti Guild. There will be dancing and music for all to enjoy.

For the adults, there will be frozen margaritas and other adult beverages and there will be custom made cigars by Ultimo Cigars of Tulsa available for a donation.

The Knights of Columbus will be raising funds for 3 incredibly worthy causes.

Charity Swap – June 19

The date for the First Annual Most Precious Blood Charity Swap is set for Saturday, June 19th. Please pay careful attention to the instructions below.

Leaving items for the SWAP:

Donations will be accepted from 10am-11am. Donors may place their items on or under a table provided. Please make sure all items are clean, in working condition and sorted as nicely as possible. No flammable items or large furniture. However if you have those items to give away please send a picture via the parish email or bring it to the swap. You do not need to stay with your items: once your items are on a table you may stay or leave as you wish. Our Knights will be there to help unload heavy things and to take all left over items to a local charity. If you need any help getting items to the parish please contact Knight Frank Mudd by email: francis.mudd@yahoo.com

Taking items:

All parishioners are welcome to take items they need starting at promptly 11am and ending at 1pm. We ask that you make a donation for your items to the parish based on your ability to give. There will be a donation area with a volunteer available for cash or checks. Any parishioners who have free time between the set up and the taking please consider helping others set up their tables nicely. Please do not take any items before 11am. A bell will be rung at 11am so we can say three Hail Mary’s together for our parish and the SWAP will begin.

Food:
We will end at 1pm and gather to eat. Please consider bringing easy finger foods to share and picnic blankets (we will have chairs but all the tables will be in use.) We will have water and lemonade available.

Wednesday – Confessions 5 pm, Mass 6 pm

Thursday – Confessions 3 pm, Low Mass 4 pm, Confessions 6 pm, Solemn Mass 7 pm (Adoration until Midnight)

Friday – Confessions 12 pm, Stations followed by Holy Communion 12 pm, Confessions 2 pm, Solemn Liturgy 3 pm

Saturday – Confessions 8:30 pm, Solemn Vigil 9:30 pm

Easter Sunday – (No 7:30 am Mass), 9 am, 11 am, 12:30 pm, 5 pm

Palm Sunday Mass Schedule

Please be advised that blessed palms will be available at all Holy Masses this Sunday, by special permission from Bishop Konderla.

Mass times will be:

Low Masses: 7:30 am, 9:00 am and 5:00 pm
High Mass at 11:00 am, expected to last 2-3 hours

The parish hall will be closed to coffee and donuts at the 11:00 am High Mass in order to use the hall for overflow parishioners. Thank you.
